Annapolis Pool Removal

Annapolis Pool Removal

This inground pool removal in Annapolis was part of a recent home purchase. While the pool had many premium upgrades and special features, the home was vacant for three years due to a foreclosure. The backyard was overgrown, and the pool was deteriorating due to lack of maintenance. The cost to repair the pool was excessive, the house was located in a community that had a public pool, and the homeowners had small children, so it seemed logical to remove the pool.

Annapolis Pool Removal BEFORE

The homeowners wanted to create an outdoor living space to enjoy and use for entertaining. They hired Carroll Bros. Contracting and a landscaping company concurrently. We worked together with the contractor to formulate a plan to prepare the yard for the next phase of development.

This Annapolis pool removal was one of the largest we have ever completed. The project was very complicated and took five days to complete. On the request of the homeowners and their landscaping contractor, we removed the decorative hardscaping such as stone and slate to be repurposed.

Then we set to work on the pool removal. We had to excavate the underground plumbing and gas lines plus remove the low voltage lighting. All the concrete was broken up and used to fill the pool hole.
The yard was regraded according to the Landscape contractor’s specifications.
